Solitude Design, LLC manufactures high end, high quality noise canceling headphones and aviation headsets like Solitude X, Plane Quiet Platinum and the Solitude AVX. The idea came from many years of being in airplanes.  The constant drone of the engines and the exhaustion it creates.  Sitting in the left seat of your next commercial flight could be the creator of the Solitude line of headphones.  You can't get any more qualified than that.

We are the Sound of Silence®.  We've been around manufacturing headphones since 2001.  We first started making headphones, packing and shipping each one ourselves from our dining room table in our house.  We moved our production run into our bonus room and quickly outgrew that and eventually moved into an office with a warehouse and hired employees.  Now, we are a research design and manufacturing firm based in Pineville, NC, where produce our line of Plane Quiet, Solitude and specialty noise cancellation products.

We are a family owned small business.  Our goal is to provide our customers with top quality, high end headphones for a more reasonable price than the big boys.  We also believe in answering our own phones and answering emails.  You won't find a voice automation here - just leave a message and we will return your call, personally.  Where else can you get that in this day?
